Dr. Laurie Bassi is the CEO of McBassi & Company, an economic analysis and survey-research firm that specializes in developing systems for measuring and optimizing the connection between people and profits. Dr. Bassi is also the Chair of Bassi Investments, an investment company that invests in companies that invest in their employees.

Dr. Bassi has served as the VP for Research at the American Society for Training and Development, and was a tenured professor of economics and public policy at Georgetown University. She has also served as the director of several U.S. government commissions, and the co-chair of the National Academy of Sciences’s Board on Testing and Assessment.

Dr. Bassi holds a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University, a M.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, and a B.S. in mathematics from Illinois State University.
