Her clients are high potential, open-minded, creative individuals with an unlimited capacity for learning and growth.

Diane’s approach to her work centers around leveraging emotional intelligence-particularly self-awareness and self-assessment. How we choose to implement self-knowledge is at the root of sustainable behavioral change. Diane gives clients the tools to make positive, productive choices at every level.

Experience:
After spending 14 years in house studying what makes employees succeed, Diane now translates her experience, combined with her graduate work in organizational psychology, into a coaching consultancy. Before launching her own business, Diane was the Senior Director of Professional Development and Organizational Effectiveness at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP, an Am Law 100 firm with more than 18 offices worldwide.

During her ten years at the firm, Diane devoted much of her time to associate development and the implementation of the firm’s comprehensive professional development model, which she was instrumental in creating. Prior to being promoted to Senior Director in 2006, Diane spent more than six years overseeing the firm’s legal recruiting, personnel and diversity functions. She sat on the firm’s associates, recruiting and diversity committees and led several human resources cross functional teams.

In addition to her own practice, Diane is also affiliated with Kerma Partners, a global consulting firm that advises professional service firms on strategy; and Firm Leader Inc. that designs leadership development strategies and programs for professional services firms. Diane coaches lawyers at all levels on leadership, performance enhancement, personal effectiveness (time and stress management, and organizational skills) and career strategy. Her consulting focuses on talent acquisition, management and development. She advises firms on topics such as evaluation systems, upwards reviews, mentoring, benchmarks, competencies and career development.

Her training programs include professional branding, career strategy, time management, stress management and navigating difficult conversations. Diane graduated cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the College of the Holy Cross in 1994, and received a Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College, in 2002. Recently, Diane received NYU certification in Organizational and Executive Coaching. She is also qualified to administer, interpret and coach from the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator® (MBTI) and the Emotional Competency Inventory® (ECI). Diane serves as a Large Firm Discussion Vice Leader of the ABA’s Law Practice Management Section. She has been published several times in both the New York Law Journal Magazine and the National Law Journal Magazine.

As part of her commitment to continuous learning and to developing herself at all times, Diane trains in a traditional Japanese style of karate at the World Seido Karate Organization (www.seido.com). Her current rank is advanced brown belt. Diane is also an avid meditation practitioner.
