Mission Statement:
Bespoke lawyering for a new millennium. My mission statement reflects a commitment to provide complete and fast legal assistance that is made-to-order both for the client who needs a copyright, trademark, or contract; or for the attorney who needs research, writing, or advice about technology.
Experience:
My solo practice has two goals. One is to assist clients with the acquisition and/or licensing of a copyright or trademark, business formation, and contract drafting. The other is to provide legal research and writing, as well as advice about technology for other attorneys. The advice takes the form of training and assistance in choosing the tools needed to simplify a practice.
I believe that the more one can do to automate certain tasks, the more time is left to assist clients. I have been providing assistance to attorneys in the area of legal research and writing since law school, where I clerked for the office of University Counsel at the University of New Mexico.
In my practice, I have provided research and writing in the areas of employment law, family law, civil procedure, criminal law, estates and trusts, and many other topics. Through CLEs and training sessions, I have instructed attorneys in the types and use of technological tools available, involving both software and hardware.
