Experience:
Ian Latham founded Latham & Company in Atlanta after a worldwide management career with Ogilvy & Mather, the world’s leading brand-based advertising agency. He worked as a managing director, creative director and strategic planner in Ogilvy & Mather offices in Sydney, Milan, Vienna, and two offices in New York.

He was a member of David Ogilvy’s Creative Council and winner of three David Ogilvy Awards for marketing success. He co-founded Ogilvy & Mather in Atlanta in 1980. Throughout his career, his clients have included companies as large as American Express, Unilever and Kodak, and as diverse as U.S. Centers for Disease Control, Egleston Children’s Hospital, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ian has special expertise in corporate positioning, entrepreneurial and emerging businesses, travel, health care, higher education, and the marketing and positioning of upscale brands.

He is regarded as a “brilliant strategist” and an “extraordinary writer.” Latham & Company has completed brand strategy and development assignments for clients that help transform their brands and businesses:

  • Arylessence: brand research, positioning and communications for the largest fragrance and flavor house in the Southeast

He currently serves as New Zealand Honorary Consul in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina, and is a member of the Atlanta Consular Corps.
